Visiting a Patient

Main Entrance

The main entrance to INTEGRIS Southwest, located on the east side of the hospital off Western Ave., is locked at 11 p.m. and unlocked at 4:30 a.m. To enter the hospital between 11 p.m. and 4:30 a.m., please enter through the Emergency department entrance, located off Douglas Ave. on the west side of the hospital. The Patient Registration entrance, located at the southeast corner of the hospital, is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.

Intensive Care Unit:

• 24 Hours (expect during shift change between 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.)

No more than two visitors at a time; no visitors under the age of 12. No live plants are permitted. The Information Desk at the hospital is staffed from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm to answer any questions you may have.

Patient Information

A listing of patients’ room numbers can be obtained by contacting the Patient Information Desk at (405) 636-7073 or Admitting at (405) 636-7225.

There are two manned Information Desks at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center. The first Information Desk is just inside the hospital’s main door. The second is adjacent to the Emergency Department.

There are volunteer workers throughout the hospital that will be able to direct you to your destination and/or answer your questions.

Directions

INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center is located at 4401 S. Western Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The main entrance to INTEGRIS Southwest is located on the east side of the hospital off Western Ave. This entrance is locked at 11:00 pm and unlocked at 4:30 am. To enter the hospital between 11:00 pm and 4:30 am, please enter through the Emergency department entrance, located off Douglas Ave. on the west side of the hospital.

The Patient Registration entrance, located at the southeast corner of the hospital, is open from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm, seven days a week.

Parking

Free parking is available on the east side of the hospital. Parking will be to your left when entering the campus from South Western Avenue. You may also access parking from the main entrance at Southwest 44th Street. When entering the campus from Southwest 44th Street, parking will be on your right.

Complimentary shuttle service is available from 4:00 am until 8 pm. The shuttle driver will take you to any building on the INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center campus and return you to your car.

Gift Shop

The INTEGRIS Southwest Hospital Gift Shop is located in the main lobby near the information desk and offers health and beauty aids, flowers, candy, magazines, postage stamps, baby gifts, balloons, greeting cards, toys and other gifts. MasterCard and Visa credit cards are accepted.

The Gift Shop is operated by the Volunteer Auxiliary, and all proceeds benefit projects at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center. To contact the Gift Shop, call (405) 636-7074.

Guest Dining Services

“Good Food” Cafeteria

Meals are served in the cafeteria located on the 1st floor of the hospital near the guest elevators and the Cath Lab waiting room.

• Continental Breakfast - 10:00 am to 10:30 a.m., Monday - Friday
• Lunch - 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
• Dinner - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

The cafeteria is also open from 1:00 am to 2:30 am for the midnight shift.

Starbucks coffee is available in the Gift Shop located across from the Information Desk on the 1st floor of the INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital.

Guest Meal Trays

Meal trays are available for guests staying with patients by calling (405) 636-7110 or by speaking to the nursing staff. Guests must pay by cash or check prior to mealtime. Guest meals cannot be billed to patient accounts. One supper tray is available at no charge to a parent of a pediatric patient younger than age 10 years.

There are vending machines located near the emergency room area on the first floor available 24 hours a day.

Safety & Security

For your safety, INTEGRIS employees are required to wear name tags at all times. If you are concerned about your safety or security, ask to speak to the nurse in charge immediately.
